SAT Preparation
Comprehensive preparation covering Math, Reading, Writing and Language. Strategic practice with timed sections and personalized feedback.
About this examination
The SAT is a standardized admissions test administered by the College Board and used by universities, principally in the United States. It is taken digitally, adapts to the student as they work, and reports a combined score from 400 to 1600 across two sections: Reading and Writing, and Math.
What you will work on
- Reading comprehension: identifying central ideas, using textual evidence, and reading across paired passages
- Writing and Language: grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, and expression of ideas
- Algebra: linear equations, systems, and inequalities
- Advanced Math: quadratics, exponential relationships, and nonlinear functions
- Problem solving and data analysis: ratios, percentages, and interpreting graphs and tables
- Pacing and question-triage strategy under timed conditions
How preparation is approached
- A diagnostic sitting establishes the current baseline before any teaching begins
- Lessons target the specific question types that are losing the most marks
- Timed sections build exam-day stamina and pacing
- Every practice set is reviewed question by question, so mistakes are understood rather than repeated
Worth knowing
Because the digital SAT is section-adaptive, the difficulty of the second module depends on performance in the first. Preparation therefore emphasises accuracy early in each section as well as overall coverage.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Classes
Are lessons online or in person?
Lessons are taught online, one to one and live. That is the confirmed format, and it is what allows students to join from anywhere rather than only from the teacher's own city.
Can I take lessons from outside the teacher's country?
Yes. Because lessons are delivered online, students can join from anywhere in the world. Reach out and we can work out a schedule that fits your timezone.
Are lessons one to one or in a group?
Both. Lessons run one to one or in small groups, online or in person, depending on what suits the learner. One-to-one work is built around an individual student's goals, starting point and pace; small groups suit students who work better alongside others.
Preparation
Which examinations do you prepare students for?
Currently confirmed: SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, CELPIP, IGCSE, GRE, GMAT, WAEC, NECO, Summer Lessons, Fall Lessons, Spring Lessons, Academic Support, Special Education. Other examinations are listed on the Programs page and are being confirmed. Message us to ask about a specific one.
How long does exam preparation take?
As a guide: IGCSE runs 8 to 12 weeks per subject, SAT 8 to 12 weeks, and IELTS or TOEFL 6 to 8 weeks. K-12 support is ongoing month to month. After a free assessment you get a personalised study plan with the exact duration and a target score, rather than a generic timetable.
Do you provide learning materials?
Yes, and at no extra cost: practice tests and past questions, study guides and worksheets, IEP templates and differentiated resources for learners with special educational needs, and literacy resources including the teacher's own storybooks.
Consultation
What happens in a consultation?
A conversation about what you need, whether that is an examination and its timeline or the subjects and grade you want lessons in, and how it would work for you.
How do I get started?
Message us on WhatsApp using any of the buttons on this site, or send an enquiry from the Contact page. Tell us which examination you are preparing for and roughly when you plan to sit it. For lessons, tell us the student's grade and the subjects you want covered. We will take it from there.
